A mille, now thats rare. Your right about a bevel section (Hint hint Rob), might get me motivated to get mine back on the road
The mille rep is not mine but my old chaps, but he has promised it me when he can't ride it anymore.. Pic of the silly old 66 year old at the 2011 festival of a 1000 bikes at mallory.
It's been round the TT course many times and i have ridden it on track at a few parades when i still had my acu licence. What model have you got ? i see you have modded the oil feeds to the cams ?
It is a 900SS, bought new when I was 19. The reason it has external oil lines is that it has been fitted with a Mille crank, and I converted the oil system to run a full flow oil filter. It once had the distinction of being the joint fastest twin Performance Bikes had tested. As the other one was a Sports Motorcycles racing Pantah, I dont think that was bad going
My dad is 76 this year and still riding all his vintage bikes, he had them at Goodwood Revival Meeting this year and raced round the motorcross course.
Nice to hear from someone with a bevel in GB as opposed to Australia or US in the usual forums. Interesting bike btw. Is that a race-spec horn I can see?
Horn matches the 4x4:biggrin: It was fitted so I could make it road legalish quickly when I used to race it.
