Anybody have details of UK based suppliers of bevel twin spares, before I go down the rabbit hole of ordering from abroad.
Welcome to unhappiness. If you want to PM I’ll share my experiences… I have both mono and bicylindrico liabilities to keep me from good mental health and have run the gauntlet of suppliers and their variable-quality wares. If you can’t be bothered messaging then I’ll leave these two thoughts: NOS original parts are worth paying for Good second hand original parts are worth paying for Anything remanufactured is toss, and if Ducati Vintage try selling you anything then run a mile.
ducv2: What spares do you need? We bevelheads are a pretty tight group even though we are spread across the world. There are very good FaceBook sites specific to bevel bikes and parts.
Thanks for all the replies guys, basically after overhaul items so didnt want a nasty surprise from HMRC when ordering abroad. Looks like mdinaitalia might solve my problem
I bought some parts from Holland, sent by Royal Dutch post office, took about 3 days to reach UK customs clearing, ( using Dutch tracking number) then silence……unfortunately the Dutch post offices uses Hermes and without a Hermes tracking number I couldn’t get to message speak to anyone. No contact from Hermes, so the parts were returned to Holland, I’m now trying to persuade Dutch supplier to refund cost of parts. What a stupidity.
If you want anything Dellorto or Brembo for Bevels i keep nearly everything. I am UK based and usually post same day if ordered by 12 noon
I agree, they also have parts that are not on website and some secondhand parts, delivery is very quick.
Well I ordered a full gasket set and mains from mdinitalia came quickly and seem OK. He didn't have one lock washer in at the time but kept me informed.
