After a bit of a clear out, found a couple of 19mm top of the range pragmasis security chains, these are very heavy, one is 2 metres (£100) and the other is 3 metres (£125), also 2 matching high security Squire SS65CS padlocks £65 each These are very heavy items so ideally collection please, but if someone wanted delivery this can be arranged at extra cost
Sadly I’m down in Worthing. I’d have met up for one of the chains and padlock had I we have been closer
Let me ask DHL for a quotation, normally £10 for next day up to 20kg but I think it is a lot heavier than that
Great kit. Those chains are completely impossible to crop with hand tools. but not exactly portable at 6.3k per metre! So the 3 metre chain might be just under 20kg - but not with that lock in the same package! @Wilko69 Those padlocks have a special large shackle to fit the 19mm chain - there aren’t many padlocks on the market to fit so if you buy the chain you really need that padlock.
3 metre chain and one padlock now sold, the second chain needs to go with the padlock, only one key with this padlock but the security card is with it so replacement key can be ordered
Received my Chain and padlock yesterday. Sent out next day delivery, perfectly packaged. Looking at what I’ve bought, I think I got a bargain! Cheers mate.
You got a cracking bargain! Sounds like you didn’t realise just how big those chain links are - I can guess your reaction when you opened the package!
Well, it hasn’t done me any favours, as I currently have a hernia to deal with. Thanks to the current situation I have had my operation postponed twice.
