Does anyone here know someone that would be willing or able to collect and then deliver a motorcycle on my behalf next week? Collect from Canvey Island, deliver to Wiltshire. It's not a dead cert yet, but if I win the auction for the 97 748SP I need to collect it before 1600 on the 29th April. I'm not sure if I can get a courier to pick it up that short notice, i.e. 24 hours after the auction ends. Failing that, would anyone be able to collect it and stick it in their garage while I sort out a bike courier to come and pick it up?

Well I live close to Essex, I have a bike trailer, and I might have some time available. If you can't find anybody else to do it, PM me.
Thanks Pete, with Andy's offer to collect it from the auction house I am sure I can sort it now. It was the time sensitive nature of the initial collection that was posing a problem. If it all goes wrong I shall let you know.
Sounds like you might be ok but if not i live 15 mins from Canvey i have a van but its a crew cab and will not take a bike in the back but should you need storage you can put it in my garage.

I lost out in the end, it went higher than I was willing to go for the work that needed doing to it. For a grand more I could have got a semi-decent non-written off one, so I had to let it go. :/
