Hi to everyone, I'm looking for the original, stretch (*), bike cover that had specific "ears" for the mirrors. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Tommaso (*) originally Ducati sold 2 types. One was paper like and with time it tears while the better, stretch, quality type had soft interior lining and elastic outer fabric. In looking for the latter
Normally see them on eBay for £65. Might be Moto Rápido. I got one a few years ago for the 848 and fits the 998 fine. I'm pretty sure that these would be ok for most bikes as the stretch well.
Got a lovely one from Classic Additions a few years back. Nice n soft. https://www.classicadditions.com/en-GB/indoor-bike-covers/custom-indoor-bike-cover/prod_10081
Thank you for suggesting these covers but do they have specific pockets/ears for the mirrors or does the fabric simply stretch over the rearview mirrors?
Thanks for pointing me here. These look like they have specific pockets for the rearview mirrors. A bit pricey but... I guess good quality. After a few years do they still look good and new? That ones I bought 13 years ago... the fabric now has become dull and is not a elastic as it was originally.
Thank you for specifying. I love the contour & silhouette of the 916-998 series... it's so sexy... I'm looking for a sexy, adherent, dress that will show the lovely figure!
These are the covers that I saw before starting this thread which don't have the pockets/ears for the rearview mirrors. These are not specifically for the 916-998 series. Thank you for posting this link but the one that I like is the type on Robarano bikes. You can see the pockets for the mirrors in his image. but, as I
@ Robarano, Can I ask you where you bought the cover on the first bike in the left I your image/garage?
