    Guvs.

  3. Oh Bugger!! Missed it :-(

  4. No.it's open til end of month (i think) was yesterday anyway. Lots of stuff gone but still loads there. I had a shoei gt air yesterday they had all colours and sizes.

  5. Ah, thanks, but I'm not there all the time and won't be back now until December. Never mind I'd have probably spent a sh1t-load of money I shouldn't anyway!! :)

  6. Hi how much for the Shoei?

  7. It was £350 instead of £479 some were cheaper depends what colour you wanted. DSC_0047.JPG DSC_0047.JPG

  8. Very nice, thanks for letting me know. It is one I was looking at to buy, have you had chance to wear it out, was wondering on the noise level, I have the aria chaser at the mo and find the thing so damn noisy, cheers Mark

  9. To be honest I'm debating whether to take it back down there today. There's a whistling noise on the left side. I've had the visor adjusted but no difference really. If I put 2 fingers on thr left side (in the crease where the silver stripes are) the whistling stops. My mate bought a matt black one and it's perfect so I don't know what to do. Apart from that it's great :-S I would say my caberg v2xr carbon was lighter, quieter and as comfortable. If they can't sort this whistling it'll have to go back in think.

  10. Really appreciate that info, thanks for taking the time. Total pain trying to decide on a new helmet, not as simple as just getting it to fit right, I want quiet, good visibility, non fogging ect. I looked at the Shubert and was settled on that then read a couple of bad reviews and it makes you lose confidence, why does if have to be so difficult?

  11. I know it's a nightmare and walking around a shop like a turkey with it stuck on your head don't mean shit. I was thinking between a schuberth s2 shark speed r or the shoei. I'd kind of ruled out the shoei as I didn't really want to pay that much then this sale came and I bought it. I'm going back down this afternoon see if I can change it. Like I said my mate is landed with his??? Maybe it's just my head :-(

  12. Shoei Helmets UK
Hi Mark, if the store have adjusted the visor and you are still having an issue this is very strange. If you would like us to take a look at it please ask the store to arrange the return and the technicians in our service department will take it in for evaluation.

  13. Hi, how did the return go?

  14. No bother at all. They've sent it back to shoei and they should know what they say by Monday. They didn't have another in my size the same colour and I could have had another but I'll wait to see what the engineer say. If they say nothing wrong i don't want another. If it is faulty I've have a new one the same.
Bike gear have been great in fairness. And shoei replied to me within an hour.

  15. Sweet, hopefully it will be a fault and they can replace it for you

  16. Hope so otherwise I'll have to get my money back and start again.

  17. I was down fowl ups today trying some on. The shoei does fit lovely along with the aria Chaser V. The Schubert did feel cheap in back to back comparison, so I guess that's one more for me to cross off. I like the shoei for the inner visor and from reviews seems quite quiet, but you still cant seem to compete with the loyalty that people have for Arai, especially evident regarding how good they are when crashed in. What to do......

  18. I have the Chaser V,hated it for months, noisy and the fit was not quite right, ended up taking it to the Arai stand at a show and they serviced it and custom fitted it to my head, what a difference,a lot quieter and no lift at high speeds and all done foc.

  19. I was always of the opinion that Arai were too expensive, paying for the name etc, A pal of mine had a huge off a few years back . Smashed legs arms and pretty much everything else. Arai saved him they reckon. Ive had AGV`s and HJC`s but paid the bit extra for my Arai rebel. Its awesome and you can tell where the extra money has been spent. Just my opinion

  20. Anyone know when Bikegear shuts?
