899 Bike Goes To To Limp Mode

  1. so got another Ducati.. so the bike starts able to ride and then randomly goes in to limp mode and then there is no response from the throttle. If i pull over turn the bike on or off couple of times will start in to normal state and then able to ride the bike.

    got a reader on the bike has some errors appear.

    CAN line error (buss off)
    Vertical cylinder throtttle postion sensor (TPS V) (Implausable Signal)
    Key damaged
    No Key

    so its a ducati panigali 898 2014 model

    any idea ?

  2. i had a simliar thing, it got very wet tho, fine when dried out

  3. I’d start by checking all the connections on the loom, make sure they are clean /dry. Have you got another key to try as well?

  5. the bike was driven when it was dry.
