I booked this a few months ago having been urged to do it by a neighbour (who no longer rides, alas). Quite looking forward to it but unsure how well I'll ride while being scrutinised. I'm wondering if I have to be extremely well behaved. I've heard that's not the case but perhaps it depends who the coppers are that take you out? Who's done a bikesafe here?
i done the 'wiltshire' one twice, a bit of classroom and a ride out with a copper, worth doing imho, and ride how you normally do, they wont mind and they give some good pointers
Not done the Bikesafe course per se, but I have completed RoSPA and that is based on the Blue Book the police use. So expect to "make progress" safely with some good tips and friendly and constructive critique. Most of all enjoy it. Duke
Thankz wantz. Was yours 9 til 5 over two days? Thanks Bradders & Duke of Snow, I will definitely try to have fun if I can manage to relax.
I went with a female rider. She was cut up by some twat on an island. Should have heard the commotion ! It's good to get some reminders about road craft.
I have done one with Devon and Cornwall, and one with Wiltshire. The latter included track time at Castle Coombe, which I enjoyed. My mate didn't, he was furious at not being allowed on track on his legal CBR6! I didn't take the piss.... Wheres yours at?
