That is a great looking bike. I've just bought a new black one because it is simply the best looking one. I don't understand why they dropped black and the silver does nothing to flatter the bike.
Sorry about this.... Is it just me or does the whole front of that bike look hideous? All that black - it just looks as if someone bolted a whole load of extraneous plastic to it. I can't help it. I just think it looks grim. The Pikes Peak colour scheme is about as cool as you can make a Mutley look. But it ain't no beauty.

I'm confused. I posted these pictures at the request of one of really good guys on here. I posted it on the Multistrada page. This is the page where people who are interested in Multistrada's chat and share and sometimes talk a load of bollocks but that doesn't matter because we like/own/interested in, Multistrada's. What the fuck are you 2 fucking knob warts even doing on here. If you don't care for the bike fuck off somewhere else and stop being so insulting, cos I can assure you I can do it as good as you.
I am a " fucking knob wart" because I don't think that all black is the best Multistrada colour scheme. Have you just got back from the pub?
I'm so sorry. I have put £15k into the project so I sometimes get a little touchy. Not like me to fly off the handle like that and it won't happen again. I just hope I don't get suspended from the site for using such appalling language. Now that I have calmed down and can look again at your comments I think you are quite correct, it does look crap in black. As of tomorrow I'm going to save like hell and get the PP colour scheme. My sincere thanks to pointing out the fact that the bike looks ridiculous in its present colour and I will post pictures when I get the bikes new colour scheme completed. Pity I will miss the riding season as I will be too embarrassed to take the damn thing out but at least I can declare it SORN and save the road tax. Sorry again from myself and the bike for being so offensive.

As a 2011 PP owner mine too has the greatest pipes; the mighty QD's (too bloody hard to post pic from this iThing) so again, I salute your taste and I do hope you've removed those baffles. Helps the neighbors awake for work and all that...it's a community service Now, did you get the exhaust hanger bracket anodized/powder coated yourself, or do the buggers now ship with the bracket as black? Mines still silver alloy. Another task to be done. I note the rear pegs in black too. Damn, another task. A gold RK 530 chain and black sprocket (Superlite) will set that off nicely too with a black Rizoma sprocket carrier or whatever it's called. Consider the OZ Racing "Piega" rims (black) if the readies ever burn a hole in your pocket; Motowheels in the US are your men. Or if a dash of colour to offset the black beast, try the Marchenisi Gold rims...hmm, maybe not.
Hello, thanks for the info, I'll certainly have a good look at all of these. I think I will be keeping the bike now for another year so lots of great stuff to improve the bike further. regarding the powder coating. I , and everyone else around these parts use Triple S at Bingley West Yorkshire. Really good results from these guys and not too expensive. For my footrests, hangers etc it was around the £100 mark. They do need around 7 days to turn the stuff around though if you can wait that long. They have a website so have a gander and give the guys a ring. Thanks for the post.
