1260 Blinking Immobilizer Lamps

  1. According to the manual, the two red lamps on top of the dash should stop blinking, with key off, after one hour after parking the bike. On my bike the lamps are still blinking hours and days after parking. And the key is no where near the bike. Any idea what causes this?

    Bike is a 2020 1260S Grand Tour

  2. Mine blink for about 24 hours after switching the bike off, then stop.

  3. Is the bike hooked up to a battery tender?

  4. IIRC mine continue to blink for far longer than an hour, possibly indefinately. I do have the OEM alarm installed which may make a difference though.

  5. On my 1200s, which is pretty much the same, they blink for around 24hrs.
