I'd arranged to have my belly pan, bash plate and pillion hangers sent off for anodising. I booked a City Link collection and delivery service online. They were supposed to pick up from the office on Tuesday and I got an email that night to say nobody was in when they came to pick up, even though we were there all day. I thought that the dozy buggers might not have walked up to the 3rd floor where we are so I re-booked it and left it inside the front door downstairs with a big sticker saying "City Link Pick up". One of my staff saw someone pick it up but about an hour later some guy from City Link arrived at the 3rd floor to collect the parcel. He seemed disinterested in trying to find out what happened and I'm now worried that another company collected it by mistake! It's still not arrived, and the company I booked it with can't track it, but tell me they are looking for it. I'm somewhat pissed off. It was addressed up properly (with return address as well as a letter inside) so I would have thought if the wrong company collected it then they might at least bring it back to me. I might need to buy replacement parts now, so if anyone has any of them please let me know.
That to me reads that you've randomly left your stuff lying around somewhere unsupervised and it's walked. I hope I'm wrong for you....

Looking for a good pair of Pillion footrest hangers… Seem to be a few Right hand ones on Ebay, but haven't found a good Left hand one yet. CityLink can't find the package, I suspect another courier picked it up by mistake but I can't understand why they don't just bring it back!
City Link are the worst don't ever use them! The last time they delivered to me I got an email from the sender stating that they'd twice attempted delivery and I was out. No card left or phone call and I was in all day! After I complained, it turned up. This was not the 1st time I'd had this type of service from them.
This is why I prefer parcel farce - I can drop it into the depot in person. Couriers are too much hassle

No, one of my designers saw the courier come in and collect them - seems like it wasn't the right courier. But if City Link had picked them up properly the first day when it was booked then it would not have happened. Lesson learn't, slap on the head delivered... Managed to buy the belly pan for £50 (thanks Big Stu), now I just need the footrest hangers. I've found a set for £150 (too much) and some of the R/H ones, but only found 1 damaged L/H one.
