Blue Tooth On The New Multi

Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by Stevie B, Sep 18, 2015.

  1. I'm struggle to understand why Bluetooth exists on the new Multi. I have tried connecting headset, phone and Zumo. They show up on the dash but don't seem to talk to each other. I had hoped I could connect the iPhone and headset and answer with a button on the bike. I have just gone back to connecting all to the satnav and not connect the bike. Can anyone help or is there any tutorials online? The dealer is no help at all.

  2. The Riders Manual pages 242 to 252 sets out detailed instructions on how to pair bluetooth devices. If you have tried doing this but cannot get it to work, how far have you got? At which stage does the bike fail to do what the manual says it should do?

  3. Who's the dealer and welcome btw :)

  4. Ok so I can connect iPhone, headset and satnav. There is is no advantage over just connecting to the satnav. There is no button on the bike to answer a call etc. Or am I missing something?

  5. I'd better not mention the dealer.

  6. Pages 136 to 146 of the manual explains how to use the bike's buttons to answer phone calls, play music etc. What is it that fails to work?

  7. Ok thanks to all I have now got zumo 390, iPhone 5 and SRC head headset connect and working.
However the last twice I have used them all together I lose sound from the Zumo after about 30 mins.
Everything shows on the dash to be connected but no sound from phone or Zumo.
    Headset is fully charged.
    Any ideas?
