Go every year but couldn't believe the lack of attendance from exhibitors this year. None of the middle to larger manufacturers were there, and whole sections that are usually covered with trade stands were just missing. In fact I don't think it was larger than the BMF Tail End which is usually half the size of the BMF Peterborough. I went with a large shopping list, but hardly bought anything. Its quite worrying as it showed the effects of the recession and the fact that perhaps most of the stands that are usually there had simply gone bust?
made a decision not to go to bmf this year, each year it gets smaller, less exhibiters and less trade stalls bmf have lost contact with what modern motorcycling is about and need to reinvent themselves
well sort of glad I didnt go in the end then, I hadnt gone for a while and started to feel like i was missing out. the weather made my mind up and ended up taking the motorhome instead to better pastures. so any big shows like the bmf good to go to coming up ? - in the UK that is..! bugs
My mate who has been going for years said this year was the worst ever, I think he said £19 to get in, lots of stalls missing, food extortionate, glad I didnt go now!!
