  1. Just seen a recall document on another forum. Sadly it won’t copy so the important part reproduced. If affected, speak to your dealer. Andy

  2. The gift that keeps on giving. My 2022 K67 had:-
New water pump replacement under warranty
    Cush drive replacement under warranty
    New camshaft recall
    Riders footrests recall

Now an oil filter. Possibly. I don’t know because I sold it.

Much worse than any Ducati (or any brand) I have ever owned. Cracking bike still though.

  3. My 2023 S1000XR TE (K69) was recovered to have both leaking Brembo front calipers replaced at ~400 miles, with tyre and wheel replaced because of fluid contamination.
It was again recovered to have the master cylinder replaced at ~700 miles because of front brakes binding on the rotors. They have refused to replace the rotors, despite discoloration and scoring attributed to overheated discs. This matter is ongoing.
The bike has also had the footrest recall carried out, and it looks as though it may well be affected by the oil filter issue, all in under 1000 miles.
This is my second S1000XR TE, and despite the fact that they go well when running, the first one wasn't problem free, and it's unlikely I'll buy another. I don't know what has happened to BMW quality, workmanship and reliability with their later bikes, but in my experience it isn't what it was!
Thanks for the useful but disappointing information in the preceding posts.
    Tom.
