what a shock - 'Pennies from Heaven' seems like only yesterday when he started to get noticed.

 

Sad day one of my brothers mates died this morning at 55. RIP

Been suffering for a couple of years,hence no more acting,well I don't think he needed to act too much,had that rare quality of whatever the charecter,you always said that's Bob Hoskins!Dont make many like that much anymore. RIP

Harold Shand in The Long Good Friday was a tour de force - most people seemed to like him - sad to die relatively young.

 

Shame, but he'll be remembered and that's all any of us can hope for
