Body Swap

  1. At the risk of starting a war/pissing contest....

Was just thinking to myself this morning, how hard would it be to put a 998 body on a T9? Just new lights, front fairing support, rear sub frame, exhaust and the plastic?

    What about the air scoop?

As I say, I'm not planning this or wanting a "which looks better" and the history and evolution of Ducati design.

  2. Hi mate. Having both bikes, you're in the perfect position to do it. Pull both sets of fairing off, headlight and headlight bucket. I should imagine (but really have little idea) that apart from re welding the fixing tabs on the frame, fixing the clock set on to the headlight bucket would be a bit of a challenge...
Bet it's been done plenty of times before. Anything come up on google?

    Cheers, Ian
