Hi all, Birthday present eight months back, have used this like twice in the living room? Only wanted a new distortion pedal but she bought me this BEAST, which I am never going to use to its full extent? :frown: My electric guitar-playing is pretty much old-school, amp linked into a stereo chorus/distortion/wah trio, I can get most sounds out of this that I need, the BOSS box has some AMAZING effects on it that will make you sound like Hammett/Clapton/Vai etc fevorishly squuuuuuuuidlling away!! Boss ME-25 Multi FX Effects Guitar Pedal ne ar new! VVGC boxed with instructions | eBay This has been gathering dust now for some months and my current financial state dictates it must now be sold on to somebody who might actually use it? Paid £155, good Paypal offers @ £110 will get you a Magic SquiddleBox.
Weird. I asked the wife for a Boss Chorus pedal last Xmas and she got me instead a Zoom G3 multi-effects pedal thing. Why do they do that? As it turned out, it's been handy. I bought the Boss pedal I wanted anyway, where it lives in the band rehearsal room with all the other Boss pedals. The Zoom lives at home and as it's a tuner, it's useful on a regular basis. Plus you have more effects than you can shake a stick at, so as a single pedal for home, it's pretty ideal. The only problem is that she whinges if I ever dare plug the guitar in . (Sigh)
Hardly ever play electric anymore?? Have two acoustics that get regular use, a Yamaha six-string I brought back from the States and a 1971 Eko Navajo 12-string, arguably my fav? Yet to be mastered lol
I'm sort of looking at a LAG at the moment - acoustic wise. And opinion of it? I don't have an acoustic - just a Strat, a Casino and a Les Paul. Not complaining, but an acoustic needs to join the fold.
Get one! Just pick-up-and-play! Helps with your finger-strength too, with thick-gauge strings? A few hours on an acoustic will make an electric feel like it HAS no strings!
If you have those fine examples of guitars, you really need to have my Fostex Reverb Unit..... AL.
Extremely kind, but I'm quite happy with the built in reverbs of my tube amps - though I know many aren't.
