Today I had my Multistrada serviced at Bournemouth Ducati. I’ve always been pleased with the service at Snells, the only problem is their location in relation to mine. It’s not just the distance, it’s not even a good ride. So I was pleased when I saw on here Breeze were opening a new dealership in Ferndown. I booked in with Phil the after sales guy, they could service the bike on the day I needed and able to source the pannier liners for the aluminium luggage. Two days before I was due I found out I needed to be on a very important teams call at the exact same time the bike was due in. I asked Phil about the possibility of using a meeting room as the meeting would need some privacy and he was able to sort that out. I arrived in plenty of time, was shown to the office and left to deal with my meeting whilst the technician serviced my bike, perfect. After my meeting I sat in the cafe (excellent) coffee, Phil found me and advised the firmware updates were taking longer than expected. They have only been open a week and I’m sure there is still much to do but it didn’t effect my positive experience. I looked at a new Atacama jacket and the Rally Multistrada whilst I was there, everyone was friendly and polite, just how it should be. My past experiences at Abingdon and Winchester has been poor, Breeze are a massive business, but my visit today was just what I hoped for and I will be back.
Thank you so much for this - my colleagues worked incredibly hard last week to get the site open and we still have some way to go! Breeze is a comparatively big business but we are passionate about the brand and genuinely care…over the next few weeks we’ll drop the ball a few times but we’ll learn from it and improve. WSBK will be on in the cafe this Sunday with coffee and bacon rolls, hope to see you there
Popped down there for the service on my bike this morning, an overlap with loan bikes meant there wasn’t one available for me but Phil arranged for my bike to be serviced straight away so the wait was only 90 mins (not difficult to while away in a bike dealership), popped upstairs for a coffee and managed to flick through the DP catalogue without buying anything all whilst being kept company by Mr Darcy the resident terrier (I looked but they aren’t available from the DP catalogue, if they had I would have bought one ) and before I knew it the bike was all done and ready
Hi @Mark - Ducati Bournemouth A chum of mine (also Mark) said he was chatting to you at the Caterham 7 track day at Brands. Said you seemed like a nice chap!
I had new belts fitted to my XDiavel S,and for the first time ever the bill was less than they quoted, pleasantly surprised how inexpensive the job was, Oh and hi to Ackers
Hi Alan, that's good to know that my colleagues looked after you! Did you manage to try any of the food/drink in the cafe and if so, thoughts?
Great coffee, and great to see some of the older bikes on display, better atmosphere compared to some Ducati dealer
We love the 'heritage' bikes, they're such an important part of the brands history! Glad the coffee was good, see you back there soon
