So 2nd month Saturday is up on us. Wondering if any are showing up for Bothell monthly cake or will all be doing Sunday in Brighton with hard core bikers? I think speed trials are on that day as well No?
cake in a brothel? Won't be able to make this I'm afraid as I'm in sunny Italia living the dream
We are sunny here and are past stone age so have motorcycles not Lycra and bicycles (ignoring tax disc that is). Enjoy Jerry.
If there's a big interest in Boxhill then will meet up there otherwise it's Brighton. Trouble is, it's Ace Cafe run to Brighton on Sunday so might even check a few hotels out. EDIT Saturday :- First practice 9 am, First timed run 11.30 am so could do early meet at Boxhill and still go to Brighton. (Sunday :- Bikes are departing Ace cafe at 10.30 am)
I just realised I am working Saturday so can only do normal BoxHill meet or possibly go Sunday to Brighton. It is to be 28C so Ice Cream would be good.
it's normally around 10am onwards and if it's good weather then sometimes a few go onto Bury Hill. Numbers vary from half a dozen to over 30 occasionally but judging by response this time then could be the first figure.
Just had to evacuated about 300 people at work for 2h standing outside building so knackered going to sleep.
well thread has had 146 hits so could be good despite few posters. Too late for me to get cakes but see you around ten slumdog (and weather perfect here!)
Well another day when I hadn't got the strength or energy to get on the bike.Lovely day for Boxhill, etc.
I went the wrong way Chris, sorry. Did see your bike on the front though-it was a good event, think the best was 168mph or 1/4 mile 8.35 seconds,( i might be wrong as results not in at time of post ) I do that regularly of the light don't you
Good to meet you Richard, yes - I was confused as I wasn't sure if you were going or not but it was a cracking day. You were right about the speed but I think lowest E.T. was 8.85 secs (as you say, stroll in the park) What did you think of the Ducati dragster? I think he ended on a 10.28 which was tidy. The bike riders are truly colourful people aren't they? Met up with CrystalJohn and knocked back a few drinks etc. Same again tomorrow?
I am truuuuuuly sorry but this is the best I could do after standing patiently for more than half hour :-
