I'm in need of some front brake discs for my 749s but at the moment can't spend great amounts on the bike but don't want to take out the road for that reason as its not that time of the year , plus I'm immigrating soon so rather do it before as taking bike with me and don't want to go into the unknown looking for bits. Any recommendations with out braking the bank, I keep coming across this wavy armstrong discs and they not too expensive, been told to stay away from ebc and brembos are just plain expensive. Any help would be appreciated Cheers in advance R
Not heard of Armstrong if I'm honest, what about Galfer but they won't be budget either, you can't skimp on brakes
I just mention Armstrong as when did a search on flebay and google they are all over the place :-/ I won't skimp on brakes but that's why I was asking for some ideas and advise. I don't use my bike as much as I would like and far from "racing" use.
Have not heard good things about Armstrong but it was a few years ago so maybe they've got better ;-)

Buy one disc and just run one caliper. Remove the other caliper and fit a single line. That'll get you out of the mess in the short term. :biggrin:
