In the rear cylinder mine is black not as dark in the front. I had read on the intergoogle that it was a result of a reaction with the plastic reservoir and heat. Nothing to worry about. I'm sure somebody else can enlighten further.
I've recently noticed this on my SF when I rode to manchester from London....nipped into a dealer and it's perfectly normally. Mine was very cloudy but he said it could eventually go black but nothing to worry about.
