brake pad recommendations

  1. The time has come to do my front and rear pads.

The world has moved on and it seems that there are a myriad of materials that the same pad can be made of.

I don't want to change the discs, and ride the bike on the road so need brakes to work from 1st sec (not warm up like a racer).

Ideally I would like to put some pads in that are a little better than OEM...

Does anyone please have some recommendations and any idea of price and distributor ? (also would be interested to hear how much OEM pads are).

    Thanks,

  2. Bendix MF pads work a treat and aren't silly money :)

They make a nice Hob as well...:upyeah:

  4. I switched to SBS from Brembo. Feel just as good, got them from the local Ducati dealer who stocked both.

    OGR

  5. Me..Ferodo for mine.

  6. Galfer. From E Bay, £30 for a set for the front!

  7. Discount - getting there, we have discount codes for 5% off sales of £100+ and 10% off sales of £300+
see here: Motorcycle Info Pages - Recommended Stuff > EBC Brake Shop

....still trying to persuade them to give a discount on full brake pad sets i.e. 2 x front pairs + 1 x rear pair
