Does anyone know why my front brake pads are making a loud click when releasing the lever when i am pushing the bike backwards? I have just installed a set of EBC FA447HH pads on my 1199. The bike rides normally and brakes properly when moving forward but when being pushed backwards like in reversing down a hill when I release the brake lever the pads seem to make a loud click in the caliper? This can only be heard with the engine off and the bike not running. When the bike is running I cant hear the noise.
My 1299 does the same. Moving the bike backwards out the garage last weekend I heard the same. Never done it before. Interested to understand why it makes this noise as disconcerting when it happens.
