Its another one of the Bike Reclaim days, which are always fun . Just seeing if anbody else is going? Im also thinking about going to Snett in on Mon 22nd Oct as its only £89. Weather could be a bit indifferent, but how is that any different to the rest of the year
My only track crash was on one of their days at Brands, but I'l give it another go if I can square the day off. It's great to have a paddock free of cars, vans, trailers etc.
Did you loose it coming out of Brands in the afternoon by any chance? I only ask as Im sure I shared a garage with you
Coming out of Druids in the afternoon. Hit the only remaining patch of damp (I'm sticking to this theory, it clearly wasn't a simple case of cack-handedness). Rode home with right shoved into the frame & various parts in my backpack.
Cant belive I wrote Brands when I did mean Druids , Easy to loose it coming onto the power, especially when a little greasy well it was early. Sorry to ask sooo many questions, but didnt your bike feature in an issue of RiDE. If so, you lapped me in every session I think (well almost every session)
It did, must have been me, I vaguely remember a conversation but memories of that day are fairly focussed on the crash! Ah, sorry about that!
Yep, I remember coming past with you leaning againt the barrier. Dont worry, Im not that memorable :biggrin:
I think we met at Snett earlier this year and I think I saw you at Rockers as well. If so, i'll see you down there.
I used the Ducati at Snett and Kawasaki at Rockers. If its dry, i'll be bringing the 1098 to Brands again
I've just spotted that No Limits are running a GP day on the 19th (£169). I love the GP circuit so will probably do this one instead.
I would love to two in two days, especially as my previous visit to the gp this year was a washout, but I don't think my body, let alone my wallet would be very pleased
I'll be dropping my forks, in the morning (7.30) into 100% Suspension to get serviced, as they are at Brands for the day. Then coming back later in the day to pick then up. Will come and say hi.
It was a really great day today. The weather and people were great and there were Ducatis everywhere. I tried to say hi to all the riders I could find and tried directing some to our little forum. Hopefully some and maybe all will be joining us shortly. A special hi to the rider I spoke to who kept it upright in the gravel on Paddock Hill at nearly 100mph. Well done that man
