Brands Hatch & Fe ?

  1. Just been looking at booking Brands in April or May with Focused Events and they are not offering any days at all this year. Anyone know why before I bite the bullet and ask them ? Andy

  2. Try MSV direct, I think they have some dates

  3. Yes, made the mistake of giving my e-mail address to MSV and now I get 2 or 3 e-mails a week from them. I know FE are Marmite with some but we had a good year with them in 2014 and the chrono events do make a difference. Not sure I'm brave enough to ask Kev directly when we are at Cartagena but I'd like to know. Andy

  4. Ust need to talk his language.

Oi wanker, wtf havent you sorted brands?! You not fancy the premium evemts then?! Busineeses collapse if they dont deliver the right products.

    Or something like that :upyeah:

  5. braver man than I am :Bag:. Andy

  6. One persons brave is another's stupid.

  7. He's a pussycat reply is Kev.

I heard they'd fallen out, not sure how true it is

I do 90% of my dates with no limits nowdays

  9. The big mans fallen out with MSV.

  10. Id heard that too. I guess you can only be so rude before someone says they dont want to deal with you any more

  11. In his defence (am I really saying that) the margin envelope was most likely getting ever thinner on MSV owned circuits and he was looking for flexibly on bad weather/low fill days. Whereas Silverstone and Donni have longer circuits and can accommodate greater fill, most MSV circuits (except Snetts) are short, which resorts in lower fill.

What I expect is going on is a little bit of applied game theory, not that primary participant understands that. On a compliant course he was likely to get to a point where TDs were uneconomical, therefore taking a conflict route (lower prices/be more flexible, or else) creates the same outcome, no TDs. Both parties suffer through reduced turnover, thought one has greater overheads and less dynamic diversification.

Soon enough they'll kiss and make up.

  12. Did you go to the same school as my manager?

  13. IF you look at MSVs dates they seem to be running about 3X more dates than last year for bikes, it seems to me like they've simply decided the profit is more doing it themselves instead of outing them to TDO's.

  14. Yep, looks like msv have seen the wood for the trees and fucked off fucked up events. About time too.
