To be honest taken back by the standard of riders. It's been a while since I did a track day in the UK and clearly there wasn't enough room in groups 3 and 4 to accomdate the riders who can do the sort of times I'm happy not to. Having said that we had a great day and both my 748 and my girlfriend's NC29 performed impecably. We called it a day about 7pm as both of us had silly grins on our faces and we were absolutely knackered. We are planning at least another one before the Ducati day at Silverstone on 31st July so you never know we may have another chance to say hello. Andy
There were a few quick riders wasn't there! I saw a couple of ducatis there going round, good to see. Was a long day, knackered from it even yesterday was struggling. Next time I do a trackday I'll have to mention it on here and see if anyone will be there to say hello!
Yes there were a couple of very quick 1098/1198s and a girl from the Netherlands who is racing in the 899 Challenge this season. There was also a young Finn on a GSXR 600 who is doing a few Superstock rounds who was mentally quick. Watched him round Surtees on a lot of throttle. It's quite usual to post if you are doing a track day as it it makes a difference if you "know" someone there. Andy
