Brazil Returns To The Motogp Calendar In 2026

I wish it was at Interlagos but I’ll take it. Much better idea than going to the arse end of Central Asia if you want to increase popularity.

 

I’ve been to a lot of dangerous countries on my travels and Brazil is right up there. Dodgy as. That said, I’d probably swerve Paris, London and Rome nowadays…

 

I went to Interlagos for the F1 in 2008.
We were sitting in the grandstand opposite the pits and had instantly made friends with the locals and shared beers with them.
Race fans may remember this race where Hamilton finished fifth to win the championship from Massa.
Suddenly our new friends went a bit quiet and we scarpered out of the stand as fast as we could.
Our driver ushered us into his car and sped off to a quiet little bar where we laid low until the crowds had dispersed.
He never left our sides until we were safely delivered to the airport the following day.
Until that point I would recommend anyone to go there, but when things go wrong, they go really badly wrong.

 

I hope the Ducati factory team do a Senna livery for it, providing it goes ahead
