I have this pair of the apparently now quite rare early 40mm mounting spaced Calipers. They are in need of refurbishment as the outsides are rather ‘Cosmetically challenged’. I don’t want to get involved with the cosmetic bit. I’ve stripped them down and the insides including pistons are in good condition, but I’d seriously recommend a new set of seals. I’ve put them back together temporarily with a smear of Silicone grease, but am happy to remove the pistons again and send them loose if the buyer wants me to. £120 collected from Clanfield Hants, or £130 posted fully insured within the usual normal UK limits.
Seeing as Jamier hasn't replied to my message, or even visited the site since making his post above, I'll say these are still for sale if anyone else is interested.
Done exactly the same with a jacket I have for sale, at the same time on Wednesday. Complete time waster!
