  1. Where would one buy one of those then? Front brake ... ?

All working (bled etc) but I think air is getting in very slowly.

    TIA

  2. Can see loads on eBay etc but don't know which one to buy. Also checking past threads looks like buying from KTM Spares may be the way to go?

  3. If you have not already done so change bleed nipple first. I had similar on my GSXR track bike and just putting a new nipple in cured it.

  4. To circumvent bleed nipple bypassing when bleeding, at base of nipple apply grease. If using vacuum pump, use just one small pump. Too much vaccuum pressure will make bleeding a lot more hassle. But you do begin to see what is bypass and what are actual system bubbles after a while using them.

Isopropyl on nipple valve seat applied with wifeys cotton buds can also help. Youd be surprised the shit that can build up on valve seat. I found a slightly hardened white sludge (water contam) on one of my 916 calipers nipple valve seats. Drove me nuts for weeks trying to bleed that bastard. Air kept getting in. Someone on here suggested clean seat and they were spot on.

  5. Good idea, will do that. I think they're all the same size?

  6. Ta, good idea, will do that as well.

  7. M10 or M8 for the front?

  8. Take it out and measure it then pop it back in. Only sure way. apparently they suffer from “thread stretch” if over tightened over their life. For a few quid it’s worth a shot.

  9. Yeah was trying to avoid taking it out to measure 'cos then I'll have to bleed it again ... needs must.

  10. It’s only a couple of pumps to bleed if removed and refitted.
