Has anyone fitted the RCS19 CorsaCorta master cylinder to improve brake feel and if so did you have to replace the original switch unit ?
Thanks, did the RCS give a more positive feel and what switch did you fit, I’m looking at the WRS switch.
When I put a Costa Coffee mc on my GSXR track bike it came with a brake light switch. It was a simple job to wire up (I used to get it mot’d in full road trim). I ran it in the track (race) setting and it was very good. Having said that I never felt the need to change the MC on my subsequent track bike, a v2 Pani. The brakes on that (with the right pads) were phenomenal.
The connector supplied did plug into the Suzuki loom but not firmly (it did not clip in). I held it firm with insulating tape. Good enough for a track bike and it held no worries for a full season and an MOT at the end.
I believe the OP was referring to changing the start/stop switch, rather than the brake light switch. @Keith W Rose - I fitted a start/stop switch from WRS, I do not recall the brand but it was around €90 a few years back.
Doh!! Stupid me. I fitted a Ducabike throttle switch to my v2 that got rid of the start/kill switch cluster. Not a fan of their stuff normally but their switches are made by Jetprime. So ok. Gives a lot more room on the clip in to position the brake lever exactly where you want it.
The standard rcs is better than the corsa corta tbh I know so many people who’ve had issues with corsa corta (me included) including brake failure. For ‘off the shelf’ stuff, Acossatto is better
