V4 Bren Tune Anyone?

  1. MTS V4- Anyone opt for a brentune either stage 1 or 2 can't seem to find any good write ups even from the creator themselves

  2. Brentune has a very polarized "following".

Some claim it is the best thing ever
Others claim he doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground and blows motors.

I saw a vid where he said it was impossible to wheelie a brand new RSV4 until he tuned it and changed the gearing. That was enough for me to not trust a word he says. Yes, I had a brand new stock '21 RSV4 Factory that would easily loop itself if you turned the nannies off. Still have it, just no longer stock

  3. I was going to get one for my 22 XR but when their video on the Gen 2 XR stated basically the same claim that it doesn't wheelie on throttle alone in 2nd... I was like try turning off the traction, coz mine surely does
Just curious, since the price of the Akro / Ducati alliance pipe just went up another $400 from the overseas source Omnia- and state side is like $3.6K, yes $2.8K is still cheaper but for some reason I was able to stomach $2.4K... Just when I was ready to purchase I saw the jump on the price... Now I'm back on the fence

  4. I did see this... but thanks for the link.... it was a good read... the problem i have is I can't base this purchase on 1 users experience even tho all good. I.e. over at BMW it seems to be love /hate some praise some say stay away, therefore I opted out on my Gen 2 XR... was just hoping to see there were more users just to compare if that split also is experienced with Ducati... My PPv4 is $10K more than my XR and now even more paranoid with bricking the ecu or them stripping me of my warranty rights.... there was talk about if Ducati can see if the stock map was lifted and reinstalled, well can't speak for Duc but over at BM I've read and heard the mothership can see it... the ecu has a logger for this, just not sure if any tuner has the ability to disable it?? in the big picture when bringing it in for service reverting back to stock map is not a big deal... it's when you have an issue, especially a big issue as you know that's when they start finding any little thing to avoid a warranty claim.

  5. Dont mess with it until the warranty has expired.

    • Agree Agree x 2
  6. Thats 5 years from now... lol
Bike came with a 5 year warranty as part of the deal
Boy... they really sow that fear seed well

    • WTF WTF x 1
  7. 5 years ? I thought you guys in the US only got 2 years?

  8. They added the 3 years as "icing on the cake" but I find out later that this icing is not sweet at all.... All I need to do to fall out of this 5yr warranty is to miss 1 scheduled service interval... doesn't really matter.. I barely keep a bike for more than 3 yrs... May get rid of this one sooner.... much sooner,, if they don't sort out my hi speed vibration issue
