Hi. Had this on my 2017 bike for about 4 months, did a really long ride over the weekend (circa 300 miles in all) and when I got back I noticed that this had cracked. Anybody else had this issue with the R&G unit?
Who did you buy it from ? It will be covered by the Sales of Goods act but it must got back to who you bought it from if you didn’t buy direct from R&G. If dealer fitted, I would hope that they will be helpful. Andy
Cheers Mate. Bought it off of motorcycle parts specialist on eBay so have to do a check back to see who it was. Thank you.
That's a poor show - fatigue after such a short period? No doubt you'll get the offer of a replacement, however if it's a money back job, then the Evotech version is nice (probably tempting fate, and mine will crack now)
Hi Mate. I've actually ordered an Evotech kit which is going on this weekend so fingers crossed that will sort me out. Lost faith in the R&G part even though they may offer an exchange item. Thanks for your input.
Ok so it's arrived and now on the bike. I must admit the replacement item is a lot more substantial than the cheaper R&G exhaust hanger. The old saying you pay for what you get has never been more true. Thanks everyone for your input.
When I removed the rear footrests from the wifes M821, I needed a hanger too. The niece has an R&G one on her M821. When I saw the price of the thing, I made one from mild steel, and painted it black to match the bike.
If I can borrow the topic; where could I get that hangers (seen on photo)! Don’t have a SC-Project muffler, but would like to fix it that way.....?? It’s for Monster 796! Looking forward to any reply/ suggestions... b.r. RogerG
