I just cant work out what’s broken and not too keen on putting my hands in my pocket for a new mirror. Felt like I literally brushed my mirror with my jacket on getting home and now it’s loose. Quick google search and similar stories but no fix. I just can’t suss out what’s broken having had a look. If anybody know what’s what with he stock mirrors and can point me in the right direction other than Ducati stores it would be very much appreciated.. Den
All sorted...via Ducati stores! A hairline crack in the plastic surrounding the metal thread. Presume this weak spot is designed into the screw threads to save ripping your fairing apart. New (expensive) mirror on and old mirror waiting a ‘superglue’ fix for when I do it all over again!
