I noticed my positive battery terminal on the Yuasa battery has came away from one side of its housing. It's sitting twisted. Does anyone know where to buy the replacement part from? I don't like the idea of having just one side of the two connecting.
Only one side is connected to the cells. The terminal is formed back on itself and sits in a recess in the casing. They're pretty easy to straighten out with the battery off the bike. 749/999 all seem to get twisted when tightening them down. If you can, try and hold the connector as you tighten to stop it twisting.
Thanks for the info thanks for the info, it seems it's just the bit that sits in the recess that has come out luckily. Will try and straighten it out at work...just always seems to be a ball ache taking the battery off! Again, many thanks
