  1. What a race!!!!

So yeah.. the new Honda’s a little bit special then...

1-2 in its first ever race in the superbike class allegedly still in fairly stock form with hardly any testing.

also at the top of the timing sheets in stock 1000 all weekend.

    very impressive!

Anyone else notice how many bikes went down with mechanicals?? Never seen so many. Three or four new BMW’s ! (Well they are made in China now) :joy:

  2. Yeah felt well bad for Hector after his upbeat pre race pit shpeal.
Hopefully the bike screws the nut next race for him.

  3. I know the gen 3 bmw didn’t win anything at championship level, but it did well in stock 1000. It’s looking like the gen 4 is going to do the same especially with coops on it. He would be quick on anything though tbf.

motorrad have one of the biggest budgets in wsbk and the bikes still struggling with Sykes on it who’s arguably one of the fastest riders on the grid. I’ve no idea why such a big brand seem to struggle so much in superbike ! The TaS team and OMG team in bsb seem to be having endless issues with it also and they’re factory supported.

no doubt it’ll do well on the roads and probably stock though :upyeah:

  7. Wondered why Whitham and co were sat in the middle of the track but obviously using the shorter circuit :)

  11. I do like Andrew Irwin but sometimes he does some sudden rush to the head moves!!

  12. I have to say, tough decision that. Brookes was shit out of redgate lap in lap out so was kind of asking for someone to ‘shove it up him’...

Don’t get me wrong I’d be mega pissed if I was brookes but at the same time he left the door open.

    Andy does like a ‘send’

  13. Racing incident.

you can’t be that shit off a bend and not expect a racer to have a go. Brookes didn’t let off.

  14. IMO, too big for his boots, trying to make a name for himself as being tough, except in this sport you can end someone's career or worse.
    He needs a good slap.

  15. Still under rabies. Even Whitman and Hayden think it was over the line...

  16. sadly it’s racing and if you get off a bend that badly you’ve got to expect someone to be there. My opinion Ofcourse.

It was a hard move, and I wouldn’t have been best pleased with it...

but this is championship level racing and you don’t tend to send written consent before engaging.

leave a gap, someone is going to be in it!

  17. Wasn’t as bad as the one where lowes took out Shakey at assen...and Shakey just said ‘that’s racing’ with a shrug

  18. What about Skinner on Kennedy’s bike clearing off??!!

  19. Brookes seemed ok with it in the post race interview saying “ these things happen “.
Fat controller won’t be happy when he gets the repair bill though !

  20. I was wrong about the Irwin brothers,it was Josh Brookes instead.
I knew someone would come a cropper.
    Great racing though.
