Well, anyone see the racing yesterday ? ( i dont watch gp anymore so cant comment there ) DING DONG !! Great stuff altogether. I tell ya, after meeting Brookes in Cartagena, I knew he was on a mission. He has the bike to do it and the grit. Shakey done well in fairness and was v happy. What about Smrz ? He was in a bad way with back pain from an old injury, almost didnt make it racing !! It was a great run from him altogether. I have a good feeling about Smrz, i think him and the Pani are getting along well....
The Pani in superbike is a turd. Getting spanked big time in wsb and bsb. Even by the blade and thats yonks old. Ducati should chuck in the towel. Great last race though Brookes was proper on it on those last laps.
Brilliant! Only stalker would try that, and only stalker would have the crowd helping him! Re the pani, it seems to be doing ok abroad. You have to wonder why..
Is it true that all the torque is higher up on the pani? I did have a demo ride on one but it was damp at the time so i never spanked it. Plus it was someone elses bike (the dealers) so i took it easy. I wasnt that impressed with it at the time either. My 1198 seemed to have more guts and felt better to me.
Different bike altogether. Bit the 1098R is borderline unridable fast with all that torque, add some tuning and its very specialist, hence Checa said how much he struggled with transition not just chassis but engine characteristics too Not that I've ridden either, but spoken to plenty who have
Bsb is brilliant racing, it's a credit to the UK IMO Love it now Brooke's is up to speed, Shakey needs pushing and those two along with Ellison are going to have some cracking battles.
