Bt014's

  1. I notice there's some darn good deals around for these right now.

    Good/bad experiences? General road use.

    Cheers

  2. They are an older tyre and have been replaced with the 016 as a road tyre. I had them on a gsxr 750 and used them on the road and track including about 15 laps of the nurburgring and liked them. If you can view before buying then just check the build date, this should be a four figure number in an oval something like 2714 which would be the 27th week of 2014.

  3. Many thanks, realise they're a bit of an older model now, but that doesn't bother me as long as the date code is good. :)
Been using 16 and 16 pros for a few years now, which I like.

  4. If they are dated ok and a bargain nothing wrong with them :)

  5. Took a punt on one. Purchased from Oponeo for <£70, so far so good. Went out last night for a proper blast now scrubbed in. No dramas with it (dry) got home chickens gone...Tyre felt warm and tactile.
Maybe lacked a little feedback (wooden) I'll check the pressure.
Date code on the tyre is end last year, I know these are a little old tech now, (MCN tyre of the year 2004). Wonder why the factory ran some?

For the price and for road use I'd buy another :)

  6. Ive not used the 014 but used to always swear by the 010`s on my zx7r and the 012`s on my vfr750 for years. For less than £70 thats a bargain.

  7. Had them on my old CBR and could not fault them for road use Not great in terms of mileage but at the current price they are a bargain

  8. Good tyre but old enough now...
