Inspired by many people, included Sam from Ducati Upnorth, I started building my own frame last summer: https://imgur.com/HNFyfsJ
Tank, seat and (when finished)fairing are from Europlast, I drawn the frame from workshop manual drawings, some measurement on my bike and a lot of head scratching. had the tubes (25 mm x 2mm wall seamless tube ) bent from my drawing and started mounting them on my jig, then TIG welded by a mate. Waiting for the subframe and shock mount to get welded, then I can call it finished. I'd like to compliment with RCV4 for his astonishing replica TT2, beautiful work! It's a great inspiration to me, probably I'll turn my SS in a TT2 replica
Hello all, we have finally managed to fully weld the frame, just some fairing brackets to add The frame jig is just some iron bars and plates carefully welded together for a good squareness and alignment.
This is a universal jig , with specific bespoke fixtures (as the Ducati ones used for this frame)cane be used from a pit bike to a HD frame.
