My carbon seat is missing something and I reckon this is it!! Any ideas where I can get one, ideally a Ducati one? Can make one with foam but rather have something nice before I start hashing stuff together
848 but I don't remember seeing one for it. I wondered if a 749/999 one would do the job but cant even find a pic on google never mid where to buy

I may be missing the point here (I often do) but the "rubber" bum stop on my standard (biposto) 1098 is definately larger than the one I saw on a 1098R single seat in Riders this weekend... I can post a pic tomorrow of my standard bum stop if it helps - it's currently off the bike. What a weird sentence to type btw
Thx. I'm going to head to a dealer tomorrow and see if they can getthem seperatly as diagram above. I dont have a single seat pod or I'd have a go at getting it off and fixing to this seat
Arrived today, cheers. now how the feck do I fit it?! Tried some mastic adhesive but would take hours of pressing to hold it on....any ideas anyone?! Thought of 2 options: stick it to a flat foam base then mastic/dble sided tape to seat or superglue the git on!!

Thats the kind of stuff (silicone sealant) I tried today but as its the seat, and not exactly square, adding pressure til it sets is painstaking and tbh more than I can bear! Looks like the no nails is next then
Don't no nails it. I did that with mine and the glue melted going round cartagena and made a right mess of my DP seat. Matt
