Hello All New 749s owner, just registered on the forum today. (2006 model, Red). I have my first question for the oracle if anyone can help me please..? The remote key fob has two buttons - what are they for? Nothing in the manual or online anywhere... The larger button clearly sets and removes the immobiliser, does the little one do anything? Do I also have to set and remove the immobiliser every time i want to start the bike? I can't just leave it 'un-immobilised' in the garage? Thanks for any help.. Geoff
Its an aftermarket fob. You will probably find that it is a test button which I like to use if someone is making a nusiance of themselves around my bike. Set the alarm as normal and wait 30 or whatever seconds for it to be fully armed (on mine anyway). Try pressing the small button and if the alarm goes off its a test button.
On mine the second button was to put in to service mode, so you could work on the bike without the alarm re-arming itself every 3 minutes and then going off in your ear.
Thanks all for the replies. I found a booklet ! Button 2 lets you disarm the movement sensor (when your on a ferry etc). It also performs a number of other tasks like letting you re-align the fob to the bike etc. Thanks all geoff
