Hi has anyone any experience / advice regarding buying a used bike from a dealer in Belfast. I am not sure about costs, tax, registering if needed? etc etc Any input appreciated Cheers
Hi buddy I bought my 899 from Millsport (Ballymoney) last year. Same restrictions/regulations apply as in the UK. V5 will need registering in your name and the vehicle will likely have a NI registration mark. The number plate can be changed to the same format as the UK (I didn't bother) No impact to insurance premium as its part of the United Kingdom Delivery cost for a bike from NI to Nott'm was £200 Hope this helps
Yup bought an Alfa Romeo 156 GTA they delivered over here and all exactly the same - just had to give the chap a lift back to the station so he could go to airport I changed the plate as already had one on retention
