Hi everyone, I just wanted to know how I go about doing this with Ducati, I've found 2 1199s that I'm interested in, one is a 12 reg and one is a 62 reg, both are still under warranty but are due to run out shortly. How do I go about adding the third Year on with Ducati?, am I better off getting the previous owner to do this and then is there a way to transfer it across when sold?, or once I've bought the bike can I extend it with Ducati myself?, I only ask as it's something I definately want to have on a base 1199!!.
You must extend the warranty through the dealer it was bought from before the bike is 18 months old. After that it cannot be extended. I believe the warranty transfers with the bike to the new owner.
Ah right so there is no way of the previous owner or me extending with Ducati themselves?, and it definately has to be the original dealership?, it can't be extended at any Ducati main dealer?.
One had done 2k, one 4k both ABS models, then there is a third which is non ABS but I'm not that keen on that anymore.
