I have today got a rear puncture, i will get it looked at to see if its repairable, but I'm considering changing it any way although it has masses of life left in it. I have found a few on line tyre suppliers, can anyone recommend or even warn me away from any on line suppliers ? Cheers
I've used Oponeo a couple of times now with no drama, although they did send a pair of tyres that were slightly older than two years old once. Which they duly gave me a fairly decent refund on and five per cent off forthcoming orders for a year, but you have to work for it! To be honest tho I still find Protyre amongst the best for pricing and hassle free service. Not the cheapest but grief free.
I've just ordered a set of Metzler M7rr's from Tyreleader.co.uk Great price, I got a tracking email number and they showed up at my door about 4 or 5 working days later as stated when I ordered. Can't knock it. Very pleased. Great new tyres, the right size, highly recommended. Think I'll get them fitted tomorrow.
I will give him a call and check, he told me last year when I wanted some tyres on the GS. I ended up having CW fit them during a service.
When I did the reasearch for some PR4s, I found Tyres r us (Eastleigh) worked out almost as cheap ride in/out as it was mail order tures and get a local guy to fir for £20 an I sidn have to mess with wheels etc
Supercorsa SA 200/55 ZR17 78W Tyreleader £122 - ordered Black Circles £139 Pneus £158 FWR £198 Will be taking it to VP Motorcycles for fitting tbh the whole thing is costing less than I expected and I might get the old one plugged and put in the loft as an emergency spare.
I can reccomended Mytyres, they have an ebay store and are very competitively priced and easy. I ordered my metzeler m7rr from them. Great service! Paul
