1200 'buzzing' On Switching The Ignition On??

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by AndyW, Aug 7, 2014.

  1. Having had the battery disconnected just been going through setting clock, mph/kmh, C/F, DTC on etc - what is the weird squealy/buzzy noise (can't think how better to describe!) when the ignition is on?

Been meaning to ask for errrrrrrrrr.....about 4 years! lol

  2. It's the throttle actuator motors for the RbW

  5. Thanks!

......I presume the throttle actuator motors are 'buzzing' like that when the engine's running i.e. all the time - so no harm the bike being sat for prolonged periods of time, ignition on but engine not running? e.g. when going through all the Ohlins SCU settings!

  6. Yes, there on all the time. Shouldn't be any problem when doing the settings.
