Some interesting comments about the performance of the Yamaha and especially the general organisation of the factory when testing ..all sounds a bit amateurish. MotoGP Japan: Cal Crutchlow offered new three-year Yamaha contract | MotoGP | News (crash.net)
To be blunt, I'm not sure what Cal can add to what he has already. The Yamaha is going nowhere without addressing grip and tyre activation. IMO and contrary to FQ's opinion, it's not just about power. Andy
Maybe he means they need to get the power down out of the corners better first and foremost, and *then work on any top end speed. Seems to be the general gist of what both him and fabio have been saying. Its kind of the same with WSB and Toprak isnt it?
Look at the difference in traction between toprak and alvaro coming out of the last corner this weekend, it must have been completely embarassing for Yamaha. (And not all down to the fact alvaro weighs less than a paper clip.)
