Evening all, Saw this show, it's got a part about the design process in Lightning Motorcycles which some of you may find interesting including generative design for the swingarm. I think it's pretty amazing how designers and engineers are using additive manufacturing! The bike bit starts at about 3:40
Just watched the whole program. Interesting. I've always thought that electric bikes looked crap. But I wasn't offended by the one that they showed. I'm changing my mind (slowly!) about electric bikes. You can have some really mind-blowing acceleration. It's just that cost could be the problem We need cheap batteries!
The Lightning Strike. I think that it looks OK. I do hope that Ducati come up with something good electric-wise. The acceleration is mind blowing!
