Just wanted to check if there is any difference in the cam belts 73740125A and 73740121B, meaning I can buy belts with either of these part numbers. I have a 2004 749. There seems such a variance in price too! Any info gratefully received, thanks.
73740125A is the original part number for the belts that the bike came out of the factory with. That part has since been superseded by 73740121B
What rushjob said….. if you can get any of the A suffix, they’ll be very old. The B’s have been around a good few years now.
Explains why the A suffix belts are cheaper! I'll bag a set of B suffix belts and get the job done. Appreciate the feedback.
