Can We Have A "my Multi Has Broken" Section?

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Drinky, Apr 26, 2014.

  1. As the title says, I'm getting so used to hitting the the new posts button to be greeted by yet another 'Multi needs this, my multi's just broke that, anyone got a 4th gear cogtwatwindmill? my heatedsatnavseatpanniernobblybit has broken where do I get another?' Type thread. Would it be a good idea to have a 'broken Multi' section just so curious browsers, potential new owners etc don't come on here to be greeted by doom and gloom.
Its just I have visions of toes curling in slippers and dropped pipes across the world when owners see the doom and gloom, we could even put it in a 'members only' area, away from the GS owners who obviously have never heard the words broken or unreliable.

  2. It's all very doom and gloom isn't it.

Then again, I guess we're now just moaning about people moaning.

    :Banghead:

  3. Well if you don't ride them they don't break

  4. i thought there would of been a lot more posts on here by now.

  5. That's a good point, I mean if every other Ducati model was ridden well in to the 10k-20k mark I'd suspect we'd have plenty more threads of 'my bikes broken'

  7. My s4rs has done 18,000 now with no dramas. In fact it's still worth what I paid for it 17,700 miles ago!

    And I love it

  8. 11k miles on my Multi now. Been to France, Germany, Belgium on it.
Done the 'ring on it and it's been properly thrashed. Off to France and Germany in a few weeks on it. Aside from the factory recalls it's been no trouble at all and I still love it!

  9. 23k on my 748 - it has NEVER failed to start or get me home, 21K on my Bostrom - one relay replaced at around 11.5K and 13.5K on my 1098 no problems, and they're all still running the batteries they came with. Hope the S4RS is as good.
