  1. Hi guys

The part numbered as number 15 on the attached main stand diagram for a 1200 MultiStrada is described on the parts fiche as a pin. (Its a damned expensive pin too)

It looks more like maybe a bleed nipple though? What actually is it and is it an essential part pls ?

    Thanks for any help

  2. Looks like it's a pin for the spring to hook on too.

  3. It looks like it holds the spring on the frame for the stand.

  5. How much is it? I'd just stick a bolt in assuming it screws in.

  6. Awesome thanks guys - that makes perfect sense.
There is nothing there at the mo, so working just from a fiche was a little confusing :)

It works out around £18.00 with postage. A lot of corn for a little part

  7. Not much cheap with ducati. I put a 1098 side stand on my 996 cost nearly £120.

  8. It’s definitely the side stand pin. As previously mentioned, a bolt with a lock nut will suffice.
I used a ti nut and bolt so as not to have galvanic corrosion (think that’s the term!) in that area.

  9. The pin is for the centre stand spring. If yours is a sport and didn’t come with the stand, it won’t be there.
If you need one to fit the stand, they’re about 12 quid from your dealer.
