Is faster then Checa and Badovani , likes the bike and says it just lacks hp cause of the restrictors.. could be interesting if he beats checa in the race... that should fire CC up...
Checa in my opinion is done now, he's had a bad start to the year but I can't see him challenging at the front again unfortunately
I am definitely a cannepa fan, I watched an interview with Troy Baylis when the 1098 was being tested by he and Niccolo, Baylis came second in the test ( admittedly there could possibly of been factors in this) TB said categorically that Canepa was "the future of Ducati for sure" lets hope he's developed just as the factory had hoped and that he's ready for the bike. Chukka could well be ready to hang his gloves up, I still think he's got wins in him though. Lets not forget, the bike was a missile in OZ and I suspect it's the injuries that are holding it back ( I don't believe the power stuff sorry) I now stand to be corrected :-D when it gets "smoked" in a straight line.

Canepa was riding the bike very hard yesterday. I can't quite understand why Dorna keep making it harder and harder for the bike to be competitive though. Are they now in Aprilia's backpocket?
Ducati could always build a 4 cylinder 1000cc like the rest.......and after all this 'history thing of its through our core, has kinda gone now with frame less stuff and so on, abandon the L2 i say, V4 1000cc!!
